| Let's Grow Kits - These kits contain suggested books, information and toys that can be used as a supplement to the Let's Grow packages. Let's Grow is a series of free newsletters that focuses on important information about the healthy growth and development of children and families. It is available by filling out a subscription form at the Ontario Early Years Centre or by contacting the Algoma Health Unit (tollfree 1-888 537 5741). The Let's Grow kits are available at the Ontario Early Years Centre. |
| LAP - (Learning Activities Package) Each kit contains developmentally appropriate learning activities based on a quality children's book. The kit contains early learning activities, easy to read instructions, and all the materials needed including scissors, glue, crayons, etc. The kit is intended to extend literacy development in the home and provide for various learning styles. |
| Literacy Kits - These kits provide language activities to encourage family reading and help parents support their children's early reading/writing/math skill development. The kits include books, board games, sorting and lacing activities etc. that will encourage thinking and conversation with children. |
