- Flexicare
is a program for children ranging in age from 0-12 years at
the 41 Algoma site or 18 months-12 years at all other Superior
Children’s Centre licensed child care sites.
- Flexicare
is a program is intended for parents who require care for
an unexpected appointment, emergency or sporadic work schedule.
It is not meant to be used for parents with a regular work
schedule.
- There
is a simple one time registration to be completed before the
child attends the program for the first time.
- Spaces
must be requested and booked (if available) on a week by week
basis. In the event of an unexpected appointment or emergency
a minimum notice of 24hrs is required. Parents with a sporadic
work schedule are required to provide a monthly schedule.
- Parents
who choose to access flexicare must be aware we can only provide
service if spaces allow and there is no guarantee a space
will be available when needed. Parents on a monthly schedule
will only be confirmed on a week by week basis. You can only
guarantee a space you by registering for a minimum of 3 full
days or 5 half days per week.
- Spaces
are available on a first come first serve basis.
